Don’t upgrade hacked Apple TVs to 3.0, CrunchGear advises

Tech website CrunchGear has advised owners of Apple TVs that run unofficial ATV plugins to refrain from upgrading their devices to firmware 3.0, saying that the "insignificant" update cripples hacked units.

Giant eclair hints at Android 2.0

Android 2.0, the upcoming version of Google's mobile operating system, will be available in the very near future—at least, that's what the giant eclair sitting on the Googleplex's front lawn suggests. The blown-up pastry is sitting beside a doughnut and a cupcake, both codenames for previous versions of Android.
