First iPhone worm rickrolls jailbreakers
The first worm to affect Apple's iPhone has been detected in Australia. The worm, which only affects jailbroken iPhones and iPod touches with SSH installed, changes the device's wallpaper to a photo of 80s singer Rick Astley with the words "ikee is never going to give you up", then tries to enter other jailbroken devices on the network.
Rock Band brings the noise to iPhones
EA has announced a Rock Band game for the iPhone and iPod touch. There won't be any elaborate mobile peripheral apparatus here. Instead, one to four players screen-tap away at separate tracks for vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. That's right - vocals tap out the tune as well, which is probably just as well for a Rock Band version that isn't limited to the privacy of somebody's home. The game will ship with fifteen available plus five unlockable songs, and is expected the game to hit the App Store before the end of the month.
Apple gets approval for iPhone in South Korea

For a long time, South Korea has blocked the sale of most foreign phones to help nurture their own phone makers like Samsung and LG. There is no word yet on which carrier(s) will offer the iPhone and no release date has been announced.

iPhone OS 3.0 brought MMS to the iPhone on most carriers with the notable exception of AT&T. AT&T originally delayed the MMS for in order to buy some time to insure that their network could handle it.

The Palm Pre may soon be coming to China on China Telecom's network if recent rumors are to be believed. PCWorld is reporting that China Telecom, who is currently courting RIM's Blackberrys as well, is talking with Palm about bringing the Pre to China. China Telecom already has the iPhone exclusively and is looking for hot new smartphones to give them an edge in the race to capture the 3G market in China.

Real demos Rhapsody for iPhone, but is not in the App Store yet
Real has posted a demo their upcoming Rhapsody application for iPhone and iPod touch. In its current form, the app will only stream music for subscribers of the $15/month Rhapsody-to-Go service. Real says a Rhapsody 2.0 will introduce offline listening, i.e., a real (pardon the pun) alternative to the iPod app on the iPhone (or the 'Music' app in the iPod touch) - that's where the plot really thickens.
PSP to get Minis, cheaper ‘app store’ like games
As previously rumored, the Playstation Network for the PSP will be getting smaller games in the form of "Minis." Minis must stay within a 100MB size limit and will only be avaliable for download. Many of the announced Minis are favorites from the iPhone App Store including Field Runners, Minigore, and Hero of Sparta. There should be fifteen ready for the launch of the PSP Go with a total of fifty by the end of 2009. No word yet on the pricing of Minis.
