CES 2010: Android-powered microwaves
Jason Hiner from TechRepublic and Stuart Miles of Pocket-lint both sit down with Randall and talk about one of the more unique places you'll find Google's Andriod OS.
HTC’s roadmap leaks, Pocket-Lint award winners, and Nokia closes its London flagship
This week, we talk with the guys from London about HTC's phones slated to hit next year, plus Pocket-Lint's awards, and Nokia looks to be closing its Regent street flagship store... is it a sign of the economy, Nokia's health, or both? We ask Dan Sung and Duncan Geere from the site.
Awards season, mini phones and Pirate Bay drama
This week, our ol' chaps from over the pond (that is what they're called, right?) check in to speak of the unspeakable drama going on at The Pirate Bay. Not unspeakable because it's dramatic, scary or obscene, but it's just unspeakable because... well... explaining the situation gives us a bit of a headache. We'll let Duncan expound on how pirate visitors to The Pirate Bay actually might have a better shot at getting away with it.
Also, Dan chimes in on a notable trend, specifically the trend toward creating a "mini phone." In essence, the netbook / laptop relationship has extended to the mobile space, where less expensive smartphone handsets are starting to roll out in tandem with their bigger brethren. Phones like the Pixi and the Palm Pre, among others. What's with the fad, and is it worth buying into?
Lastly, it's award season over at Pocket-Lint, and besides the requisite champagne dreams after winning a Pocket-Lint-ie (that's not what they're called), the guys explain some of their favs including a piece of software getting some U.K. buzz that soon could be coming stateside.
Also, give us feedback if you've got it. pocketlintshow@techvi.com. We'd love to hear what you think of the show.

Palm Pre launch details set: June 6th launch, $200 after rebate
Today Sprint finalized what we'd all been guessing: A first-week-in-June launch to its newest smartphone. With all the details falling into place, what's our final take before the phone hits store shelves? We talk to Stuart Miles from Pocket-Lint and David Chartier, who contributes to many different outlets including MacWorld. Stuart isn't quite sold on the phone, though he does think the QWERTY keys make it all the more appealing for would-be BlackBerry switchers not content with the lackluster typing performance of the BlackBerry Storm. David, on the other hand, thinks Palm might have what it takes if the OS is as solid as promised. Like any non-fanboy, David's waiting to get his grubby little mitts on the device before he parts with $300 before the mail in rebate, and the $70 per month service plan.
What about you? Are you going to give the Pre a shot, or are you going to stick to your iPhone / BlackBerry / T-Mobile G1 / other, less awesome phone?
