iPhone 3GS jailbreak released

George Hotz, better known as GeoHot, has released the first publicly available jailbreak application for the iPhone 3GS. Although it doesn't directly provide freedom from AT&T, "purplera1n" allows applications not approved by Apple to run on that company's latest handset, including the Dev-Team's ultrasn0w carrier unlock app.
