Lenovo unveils laptop-style keyboard
Lenovo has announced a standalone keyboard which mimics the company's distinctive ThinkPad notebook keyboard, and includes the eraser-head style TrackPoint. The unit is $59, and is available now.
Lenovo rolls out “new” keyboard after year-long research
Lenovo this week unveiled a tweaked version of its highly-regarded keyboards in the form of the Thinkpad T400s. Based on nearly a year of research, the keyboard redesign features Escape and Delete keys that are twice the vertical height of what's typically seen on notebooks, "to fit the way people reach up, rather than to the side" and "cuts down on accidental taps of the "End" and "Insert" keys."
EU investigating Intel on monopoly charges
The European Union has been investigating charges that Intel is guilty of monopoly abuse and is expected to announce their findings this week. Sources tell Reuters Intel provided rebates to computer makers and coerced retailers to only sell Intel machines which would be in violation of EU regulations.
