CrunchPad: Long road ahead
If the somewhat-ironic leaks about Michael Arrington's upcoming CrunchPad are to be believed, we'll end up with a $400 tablet that is sans keyboard, and is devoid of local storage. That package, says our panel of Joel Evans from Geek.com and Gary Krakow from BuyMeGetMe.com, essentially can't be a huge success. It's an uphill battle, Gary points out, since in the past tablets have been anything but runaway hits. Joel concurs, especially since the price is higher than expected.
What's your take, are you excited about the device, do you think it'll compete with Apple, or do you think people will be happy with a multi-touch capable internet browsing tablet? Sound off in the comments.
