Toshiba “ramps up” flash memory production, eyes turn to Apple

Crunch Gear, via Digitimes, is reporting that Toshiba will be running at 90% production rate to produce flash memory chips.  Apple is one of Toshiba's biggest customers and it has been noted in the past that we usually see new iPods around September but perhaps the recent rumors about the fabled Apple tablet may come to fruition.
