Sprint looking to expand 4G phone technology with tri-band phone

A phone that will have frequencies supporting CDMA, Wi-fi, and WiMAX is rumored to be in development, says an unnamed spokesperson Sprint. Along with this rumor is a possibility that the cellphone provider will heavily ramp up WiMAX coverage to many major US cities by 2010.
