Microsoft Stores to sell PCs stripped of bundled trial software.
According to Ars Technica, Microsoft stores are now removing certain pre-installed trial software from PCs, a move that bucks standard practice set by PC manufactures. These "Microsoft Signature PCs" also include Windows Live Essentials, Microsoft Security Essentials, and select other programs. This change is sure to give users incentive to buy directly from Microsoft, yet question as to why this "crapware" was on their computer to begin with.
