Google announced Social Search yesterday, the latest Google Lab experiment. After joining the experiment, a user will see search results relating to people within his or her social circle at the bottom of the normal results page. While the idea is intriguing, the usefulness is seen as limited because the world's largest social network, Facebook, has yet to be included in the results.
