HP unveils DreamScreen “tablet”

HP is showing off a new tablet device for viewing and playing media called the DreamScreen. The unit doesn't run a full-fledged operating system, but instead the device sits somewhere between a digital photo frame and a computer, which is ideally suited for media playback. The unit is 10-inches large, and goes for $249, or an upgraded 13-inch version runs $299.
Update: Turns out you have to keep it plugged into the wall, making it a really expensive digital photo frame. Still interesting, but not a tablet, as our headline originally stated.
