Netscape founder and prominent investor launches venture capital fund

The man behind Netscape and social-network Ning, Marc Andreessen, is launching a new investment fund. Andreessen, known for some of his individual investments in Facebook, Twitter, Digg and other A-list startups, will be teaming up with one other venture capital partner, named Ben Horowitz. Valley watchers are excited about the new fund, but don't expect any unknown startups to join up as the fund will only invest in 15 startups a year, and, ironically, won't be creating a website.
