Comcast and Time Warner team up for IPTV

"TV Everywhere" will be the name of a new Hulu-like service for Comcast subscribers —and currently only Comcast subscribers— that is getting its first widespread trials in July 2009. With the help of Time Warner (not the cable company,) around 5,000 subscribers will be chosen for access to a series of web portals where selected TV shows from affiliated networks can be viewed at any time. TBS and TNT programming are currently the only officially announced networks.
