China admits security flaws in upcoming “Green Dam” software, issues patch

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has instructed the developers behind the "Green Dam" censoring software to create a patch to plug security holes that could allow machines running the software, which is required to be installed on all Chinese computers on or after July 1st, to redirect to an attacker's website and have malware installed, among other holes.
