Facebook continues to gain visitors at such a rapid clip that it may soon overtake Google and Yahoo. According to web analytics firm Compete, traffic for the social network grew by 8% last month, thanks in part to its Facebook Connect API, allowing it to surpass MSN in the number of unique visitors. Given the trend of each site, Facebook could become the most visited site in the U.S. by the end of the year.
