Layoffs hit Microsoft, most of the 5,000 cuts now complete

Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, sent out a company memo confirming the cuts, and though he leaves out the specific groups given the pinkslip, he says most of the 5,000 cuts are complete, with all cuts to be done by June 2010.
