British soldiers encouraged to use social media tools
Unlike the US, the British Ministry of Defence is encouraging its troops to use social media tools such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. The MoD published its own "Online Engagement Guidelines" that "asks personnel to use common sense over the amount of detail revealed."
