AT&T to shut down its free Usenet access on July 15th

AT&T has announced that they are shutting down their free Usenet access starting July 15th.  The decision to shut the service down came after increasing pressure from New York's Attorney General Andrew Cuomo to try to cut off access to places where child pornography is known to exist.  AT&T Usenet users will still be able to access their favorite Usenet newsgroups through third party services.
