Automatic photo tagging for Facebook
Face.com launched Photo Tagger, which is a free third party application for Facebook that scans all of your photos and tags them automatically by learning from your friends' tagged pictures.
Belkin introduces netbook AC adapter
There are two models which both are compatible with Acer, Asus, HP, Samsung and Toshiba and the higher end F5LO7uk model is compatible with Fujitsu and Sony as well. Unfortunately they're only available in the UK for now, but will be available internationally soon.
Mac mini Blu-ray drive upgrade
The internal Blu-ray kit will cost $199 to add Blu-ray burning features to the Mac mini, and is available today.
Improved NBCOlympics.com to go live tomorrow
NBC is gearing up for the 2010 Winter Olympics with an improved version of NBCOlympics.com set to go live tomorrow. Chief among the improvements to the site is the upgraded Microsoft Silverlight-based high-definition video player which will let users rewind, highlight and save clips. It will also utilize Facebook Connect to allow viewers to chat with one another while watching the Winter Olympics online.
Dell receives laptop for repair, only returns hard drive
Recently somebody sent back their Dell Studio 1537 notebook to Dell due to a faulty DVD drive. He was told by Dell that the repaired machine had been dispatched, but when the package arrived it only had a refurbished 250GB hard drive and no laptop. Since then, he's spent 90 minutes on the telephone and is stuck with a 250GB HDD but no laptop. Gizmodo recommend emailing michael@dell.com in cases like this, as any issues are routed to an executive relations team.
